Fulbright Foreign Student Program (Master’s Degree) for Kosovo in USA, 2016-2017

Applications are invited for Fulbright Foreign Student Program from students of Kosovo. Fulbright grants for masters degree study are awarded for 1-2 academic years, depending on the length of the degree program. Candidates appointed to certain types of Fulbright grants may be required to arrive during the summer for an introductory course or intensive English program prior to the academic year. The application deadline is May 29, 2015.

Study Subject(s): The majority of fields of study are eligible with the exception of medical studies (public health or global health are eligible).
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing masters degree at U.S. universities.
Scholarship Provider: The U.S. Government & the U.S. Embassy in Pristina

Eligibility:
-Completed University bachelor’s degree, or completion of bachelor’s studies by June 2016;
-Proficiency in English at a level sufficient to undertake graduate studies in the United States;
-A detailed statement of degree objective for graduate studies at a U.S. institution;
-Kosovo citizenship and/or permanent residence in Kosovo.
-The majority of fields of study are eligible with the exception of medical studies (public health or global health are eligible).

Scholarship Open for International Students:
The students of Kosovo can apply for these scholarships.

Scholarship Description: A mainstay of America’s public-diplomacy efforts, the Fulbright Foreign Student Program brings citizens of other countries to the United States for Master’s degree at U.S. universities. The program has brought some of the world’s finest minds to U.S. campuses and offers program participants’ insight into U.S. society and values. Many foreign Fulbright grantees are early-career professionals who will return to take leadership positions in their home countries, often working at universities or in government service.

How to Apply: A complete application includes:
-application form submitted online via embark (do not submit a paper copy to U.S. Embassy Pristina)
-detailed statement of proposed activity
-detailed curriculum vitae
-three letters of reference
The following documents should be scanned and attached to your online application. Documents should be scanned in PDF and each scanned document may not be bigger than 2 MB: a copy of passport; a copy of your B.A. degree, as well as a translation of the degree or letter into English, if applicable; a letter from your employer confirming employment, if you are employed and any optional supplementary documents.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is May 29, 2015.
